Thanks for the Support
My friends, over the past several months, like many Texans before us, we’ve fought a hard campaign against overwhelming odds, and like them we fought well. Unfortunately, we did not win this battle. I would like to congratulate Don Al Middlebrook and John Grunwald on a well fought campaign. It has been a pleasure getting to know you both and sharing our ideas on how to best serve this District while on the road.
I’d like to thank all my supporters who gave of their time and money to get us this far. I’d also like to thank my mother and my step-father, my brother, and all of my extended family and friends for all the support you have given me. I am truly blessed for having you in my lives. To all of my hard-working volunteers who have spent countless hours out and about working hard throughout the District, I couldn’t have done it without you. Y’all are truly are what’s great about this country and this District, people who will are willing to work hard, because they believe that we can create a better future.
Finally, to all my supporters in the District, I want to say thank you. We may not have won this battle, but there will be many other battles in the future, and like Sam Houston before us, we will eventually win the war. This was not our San Jacinto, but rather our opening salvo, and I promise I will continue to fight hard for what is best for Texas and what is right with honor and integrity, because that’s I believe in, that’s what Texans believe in, and that’s what Texas need’s for the future.
